I highly recommend pumphouse over champlain for those that want to paddle tomorrow night... More variability at pumphouse, and this evening the level was quite high, making for some good edging and transition practice, challenging attainments, and even a couple of surfs. The new wave sucks btw. Poorly "designed" and poorly placed! (...Illegal too...) But interesting nonetheless. Really dynamic eddies and current transitions.
I was there tonight and will probably be there tomorrow again around 5:00/6:00ish (tending to be later in the evening than earlier, but that might change). If they do the same thing as today, the water will probably be turned off until somewhere between 4:00 or 5:00 or so, but I don't know the exact time. If I'm there, I'll be paddling an orange and grey Pyranha Loki.
