My most enjoyable day on the river yet this season! For a group of 18, I anticipated more delays at some of the drops, but everyone made their decisions without much fuss and we progressed down the river at a good pace. 2100 was a great level as the water was fast and even the last part of the run, which we know can be tedious, was basically wave trains. Stopping for lunch at North Country boof worked out well as we got to lap it a few times. Great day. Luc you captured it well. Jocelyne practically snorted her coffee out her nose when she heard the music you chose for the "main event." Well done. I learned I need to thicken my grab loop. After the last flip I hung out and tried to find the "green water" to pull me out. I found it, but then the paddle was ripped out of my hands (you see the paddle pop up in the video). The currents were impressive down there! I couldn't find my grab loop and thought I made a rookie mistake and sealed in under the skirt. I starting to wonder whether I was royally screwed. That gets the adrenaline firing! I ran my hand back and forth along the combing. It was just pressed flat against the deck. I'm glad I could do my part to contribute some footage. The air sure tasted sweet when I came up.
