There will be a draw at the completion for the prizes .

Participants will receive one draw ticket for each event they enter
For each event, each participant on the winning team will receive 2 draw tickets

there will be bonus tickets applied.

Event #1
Throw rope/stuff throw bag/boat race

Teams of 4
Line up in a row facing team's target
Throw bags will be on the ground
2 cups filled with a beverage for each person on the team

the first person will execute a throw bag rescue, drink the beverage and when finished turn the cup upside down on his/her head
the next person will do the same thing, but cannot begin until the cup is on the previous person's head

the anchor or last person in the line will execute a throw bag rescue, drink the beverage, then start and finish stuffing the bag, place the throw bag on the ground, drink the second cup and turn the cup upside on his/her head.
the next person will then stuff his/her throw bag, place the throw bag on the ground, drink the second cup and turn the empty cup on his/her head ....
and continue onto the last person until finished.

We all have done boat races in our University/College days so I will assume everybody understands the concept.

Winner: the team that finishes first
bonus draw tickets: best accuracy and precision on team members except the anchor person
bonus draw tickets: beer (you supply) is your choice of beverage

Event #2
The dog sled(kayak) pull.
This is a race

Teams of 4
One member will sit in the kayak.

Other members will set up a harness as if they were sled dogs, using a throw rope and their rescue harnesses/pigtail thingy
Proper knots should be used.
The pigtail cannot be attached directly to the kayak ... use slip knots or prussiks (hint) on the rope

The team is to pull the kayak X distance ... and once the person in the kayak crosses the line, each "puller" is to use the quick release mechanism on rescue harness so the harness falls to the ground.

The winning team will be determined when all the rescue harnesses are on the ground.

Event #3
The Z-drag competition

Teams of 4
one kayak ... one member will sit in the kayak

Select a fixed point
set up a Z-drag
Drag the boat X distance

Winners are ones that complete the exercise first --- no cheating

Last year was the first ... now on to the second year of fun.

Be prepared ... the fun will happen again this year too.
Bring your throw ropes, towing harness/pigtail thingy, and some rescue gear. Gee shouldn't you have some of those items already.

Games will start sometime Saturday evening after the dinner hour in the campground.

Prizes and bragging rights
Stay tuned for the games to be played ... but one will be the z-drag competition
