Yeah, I checked, the Moose and the Independence both have too little water (that could change.. but...). I thought of the Black as well... I think that one is a good idea. Many people haven't done it.
So if everyone is good with that, let's plan on doing the Black in Watertown for Sunday.
American Whitewater description is here:
http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/1255/#mainNote that it's the Watertown to Brownville (BROWN!) section.
It's about 1h20min drive from the Beaver where we'll be camping and about 2h from Ottawa. So again, let's plan on meeting there for 10:30 at the takeout. Coordinates: 44.002221, -75.982905.
Again, for anyone who hasn't done it before, this river is playboat friendly. There's a play hole right at the putin as well that can be a lot of fun called Hole Brothers. Knife Edge is probably the only rapid that is really unpleasant if you screw up. Glen Park Falls is awesome to practice your boof! I'd guess it's about an 8ft drop and relatively easy. Although some people (*cough* Daniel *cough*

Now that we have a plan. I'm going to make a new post with the exact succinct plan for both days as a sticky note. Feel free to arrange carpooling and what not on this post.
