Jessop's campground (left arrow), turn off from HW 515 (right arrow).

Is anybody going up just for the one day Saturday? I would be interested in carpooling if possible.

The beach at Jessops campground is the most logical place to meet up.

Where exactly are we meeting at Palmer's Rapids for the clinics. Does anyone know?

If nobody else with a bigger car volunteers to bring Zach, I will. He could leave his own car in my parking spot.

I'd be up for both clinics to gauge my level as well.  Maybe... Orange belt?

I am a beginner paddler and would like to take part in the Palmer's Rapids beginner session next Saturday. I'm assuming we meet at the beach area at 11am? Carla Millar

if all else fails, read the operator's manual ..

I'm interested in both clinics.  I'll bring my kayak and see if I can figure out how it works.

It was used so I didn't get the training manual with it.

The beginner clinic is planned to run from 11:00am to 13:30 and the intermediate clinic is planned from 14:30pm to 17:00pm. This is later, to allow people to arrive and get their tents up, etc.

We are trying to gauge the level of interest in these sessions.  Please let us know by responding to this post and letting us know what level would interest you.

I'd be interested in the clinic - I think I would qualify into the intermediate level :)

Is anyone traveling from Ottawa, with space for a passenger (plus boat and camping gear)?  Happy to chip in on gas (and even driving)!

I'd be happy to go up on Friday (leaving anytime), or on Saturday in time for the afternoon clinic.

(I *might* also have a second boat that I'd like to bring, if the ride opportunity allows: I'm considering a new (to me) boat, and will see if I can try it out for that weekend.)

Peter, I'd be happy to carpool with you for this - either departure time would be fine, though I'd probably prefer Friday. I have a station-wagon that should transport 3 people plus gear/boats comfortably (including myself), but I'll need to negotiate with my significant other (should have an answer tomorrow) on whether I can have the car for the whole weekend.
