being hopeful that the thunders storms will hit the head waters of the Skoot tonite, the levels might be too low by Saturday.
either it rained too early or this weekend came too late

we might have to choose a different river ... the Lower Rouge is running at 82

decision Friday morning

You are off by one number ... 1700 last year

I think we were on it at around 2700? last year... it was burly.

all the Hwy 7 runs came up the past week and now dropping ... only the Skoot is holding. Maybe because there is a big lake upstream.
The Grasse is dropping and the rain Tuesday had little effect on the water level. We ran it at 700 cfs long time ago ... it was low but doable but I prefer to this section above 900

The rain in the upper NY region  ... now forecasting 1.5 hrs of rain on Thursday.

hi

Upper NY state receive lots of rain last week ... the Grasse (Lampson-Russell)is currently running around 1000 cfs ...
We ran the Upper Skootamata at Mackfest which is currently running at 22 cms

Running these rivers when there is no ice on the shores ... a whole new experience.
Rains today and the forecast for rains Thursday in these regions will hopefully keep the levels the same.

Both rivers rated III/IV.

Game time decision end of the week.
