Topic: 7 Sisters Festival on the Gatineau - July 24-25-26

The 7 sisters festival was great (even if Isabelx2, Liz, Tabatha and I were only 5 sisters) and thanks to Yannick's trailer, we were all cozy and dry and having fun despite a short period of rain. Isabel's "bubbly line" through the wall (thanks for showing it to me, Jaclyn!) was nearly as good as the the bubbly champagne Isabel shared with us (merci beaucoup!) and as promised, the boys did the dishes - can it get any better???

I would be very happy to go for the day either Saturday or Sunday (but not both, unfortunately). I would also like to ride share (I volunteer be the driver). I'd of course want to leave Ottawa in time to rendezvous for the shuttle at 10 am at Bonnet Rouge campground.

Passing along some info about a small festival celebrating women and paddling.  All are invited (men typically do the dishes afer the pot luck


It is with great pleasure that the notorious 7 Sœurs/Sisters women’s canoe group would like to invite you to celebrate our 10th anniversary on the Gatineau River this 25 and 26th of July, 2015.

On the agenda:

Family camping on Saturday and Sunday

Paddling the mighty Gatineau in the company of the 7 Sisters (canoe, kayak, c1, raft, etc)

Rendez-vous for the descent at 10 AM at the Bonnet Rouge campground

Potluck supper (BBQs available) and an evening of music on Saturday July 25th (bring your instruments)

* Please byob. For the Saturday night potluck, we suggest bringing a salad or a desert to share with everyone, and your meat for the grill.

*Please plan for Bonnet Rouge camping and put-in fees
