This past weekend, the parking was actually well past the brewery into the fields. One would drive through their normal brewery parking lot to get to the field parking that they had us using. This spot made it not a terribly long boat carry to get to Push Button area. I imagine that the situation is the same now, and the 15 minute walk time would be for rafter types.

Thanks everyone.

I gave Wilderness Tours a call since they are hosting.  Was told that the Whitewater Brewery is actually where the designated parking is (in an open field) and that its about a 15 min walk from there.

Was told by kiwi steve the best way is to park at the brewery and use their trail to walk in.

On the website they say that spectator parking is 10$ per car per day. I suspect this is in a field near the entrance of the Lorn road. Our plan is to park there and bring bicycles.

The built a grand stand, so I think everyone should have a good view.

I am thinking of going to watch some of the freestyle kayak finals on Saturday.

There is not a lot of information on the website about parking etc although there is some mention of a shuttle from Wilderness Tours.

Has anyone been up? What are the arrangements? Is there enough space on shore that I could expect to have a reasonable view?
