Anyone planning a trip to the Ottawa this weekend? After a second week at MKC recently, and learning to roll, I feel quite comfortable to paddle on the Ottawa, at least the Middle Channel. Did the Middle Channel last Friday with MKC, reasonably successfully, and hope to get out there a few more times this year. I understand the Main Channel to be much bigger and pushier, while the Middle, being lower volume, tends to be more technical.
So I'm looking join some people that can "lead" the way. I really have no idea where the various takeouts are or even which companies allow public access to their putins/takeouts.
Saturday or Monday would be great, I'll be busy on Sunday.
