***NOTE*** We are no longer meeting at the Fallowfield Park & Ride. We all meet at the put in for 10AM instead.

See you all there!

Looks like I'll be carpooling with Jacques, so we will meet at the put-in around 10:00!

I guess you assumed that Cindy and I will meet you there  :P. We are planning to leave around 7h15 at most. We will most probably meet you at the river.

See you tomorrow

I'm not likely going to be making it there after all. But for any of you folks that do go and who also happen to decide to test your swimming skills, just keep in mind that it is Oktoberfest season :P

Cheers!

I updated my first post ... I have a roofing project to complete this weekend so won't be on joining you folks. Have a fun day.

Larry

Christian, Dave, Larry... are all of you still planning on meeting folks at the park & ride? Or are you planning on arranging things before hand, thus making the meet up at the park & ride useless?

Just asking because I know last time Christian decided to organize ahead of time and that allowed us to avoid going to the park & ride and instead meet in the USA directly.

Please post your intentions. Merci.

Just a quick note about the MEC insurance deal through the Cooperators.  They NO LONGER COVER HIGH RISK ACTIVITIES like whitewater kayaking and canoeing or rock climbing.  This is new and a major pain in the butt.

I did find a company that did offer coverage for high risk sports.  ToGo from Toronto.  They can set you up over the phone.  A 2-day coverage I signed up for last month for Beaverfest was $20.

This might be worth posting as it's own thread.

This is why I have a CAA Gold membership. Their insurance is resonably priced and should still cover this kind of activity as long as it's not a sanctionned sport event.

Probably best to meet at the put in.

They are very close to each other. This is a short river and usually multiple laps are done.

Brian and I want to join, and can be at the take-out for 10 a.m.  If we should be at the put-in instead, let me know.  Tx!

Annie,

Ça me motiverait aussi à me lever super tôt!
