If you're unsure, wear neoprene under it. It should help. And dry cloths at the takeout. But Saturday should be 25 Celcius, and with the water at 15, this brings you to 40, so you're above the hypothermia mark.

Rule of thumb: air temp + water temp is greater than body temp (37), then you're ok.

Yeah, I was thinking of just wearing a goretex jacket. I'll definitely be going for a couple swims though and was wondering whether that'd be enough.

I usually wear a splash top or a dry top, and when it gets warmer, just a sun shirt. The water is currently at 15 Celsius, so it's really not that cold.

Hey everyone! I just joined CdB and am looking forward to going out on the Ottawa River in a couple weekends. Haven't done any whitewater for about 4 years now, but decided to buy a longboat and give it a shot again. Do you guys have any recommendations for warm clothing for the Ottawa river this time of year?
