Hi folks,

A group of us are going to run the Gatineau on Saturday July 23.
The Bonnet Rouge gauge is currently showing 10 which is a medium level
Meet time at the take out, Bonnet Rouge, is 10:30 AM.
Google Maps/GPS Co-ordinates are: 46.281674,-75.938716

As well, we can meet at the Provigo Plaza at 775 Boulevard Saint-Joseph (GPS: 45.460777, -75.741582)just off Autoroute 5 at 9:00am to car pool.

Please feel free to use this thread to arrange rides etc.

Bill

I talked with Bill, looks like the Gatineau tomorrow, since Bonnet Rouge will be closed next weekend. He'll post times shortly.

Im am in for both. Never done the Rouge.
Rouge level is 50 now, close to Christian magic level of 60.
This said Im open to both options.
Cheers   Jo

Ok, we have at least four people wanting to paddle tomorrow.
The question is now: Gatineau or Rouge?...

I'd like to go as well. A couple of others are checking schedules so we should have a better idea on Friday afternoon.
The Gatineau would be an idea as well since it will be closed on the August long weekend.

Hi.

Rouge level is here:

http://www.cehq.gouv.qc.ca/suivihydro/graphique.asp?NoStation=040204

Below 80 or so: playboat. Above 100: bring a big boat. 60 is magic level. I've run this river as high as 160 in a playboat (never again...) and as low as 12. Always interesting. We'll see what weekend plans are!

Hi guys

Does anyone have plans for this saturday?
I would be in for a good river run. If the Rouge has good levels that could be fun.
Weather is sketchy but it can change.
