A group of us (Daniel Dubuc, Sean, Brian and myself) will be meeting at Bonnet Rouge at 10:30 to paddle for Saturday only.
Please add your name to this thread if you'd like to join us.

I will go up tonight (Friday) for the whole weekend.

This safety volunteer business is wonky. Marc gave them my name and contact info, including that I have a WRT certification (I was cc'd on it) and they did not contact me. And then we find out a week later from Yannick that they are frantically looking for a safety boater... Typical Gatineau Festival organisation.

I've got a friend that came to town this week, so I'm going to have to skip this.

Pre registration with meals is still available until the 25th, they extended it. Good if you want to go both days, but I agree that if you want to go only one day, the self shuttle is a good option.

plan to be there only for Saturday
at bonnet rouge 11:00 am,self shuttle
lets see how many we will be to plan the shuttle later this week

Daniel

I'm sure those pages weren't there when I looked...  :-[

Thanks.

A day pass from the Festival, with no meals is $50  :o

For anyone else planning on just the day, you planning to use the Festival shuttle? or just use the Bonnet Rouge location and self shuttle?  I'm not sure if that is even possible since the Festival website says something about no vehicle access except the festival shuttle bus to the takeout.

http://www.gatineau.org/en/node/137

and it's in anglais

Can anyone interpret for me?  If I'm just planning on paddling the river on Saturday, and not staying overnight etc, is there any registration / payment required?
I guess we'd need to register to end up being part of the big shuttle truck/bus to the putin?

The Federation website which has any information is entirely in french.  I see something for $35 and something for $100 dollars.  Both of which appear to be for 2 days including dinner, $100 for adults, and $35 for children?

I guess if we are just paddling the river on Saturday, and observing the mayhem, it is the regular putin/takeout fee at Bonnet Rouge?

Much appreciated !

well I wanted to go, but it looks like I cannot. My wife is coming home after 2 weeks away and we missed our anniversary, so we are going to go out on saturday.

The paper format if bilingual: http://gatineau.org/sites/default/files/FEVHG2016_Inscription_0.pdf

In short, 100$ is for the full weekend, including 3 meals, if you register before august 19. 35$ is for kids. If you go only one day I'm not sure how it works if you want to get in the shuttle.
