Liam Peyton and I are planning paddling the Ottawa Main Channel the afternoon of Saturday Aug 5.  We are meeting Saturday noon at my place:
297 Lanark Ave, just east of Churchill and north of Scott.
We have room for 1 other in the car.  If anyone else is going up in their vehicle about the same time we'd like to share a shuttle.
If there is sufficient demand, we will stop by the Eagleson Rd Park and Ride.
On Saturday you may reach me at 613 366-4359 until 10 minutes before our departure.

The automated real time gauge of http://www.shaggydesigns.com/gauge.htm is reporting the river running about 0'0",
a good level level for play boating on the Ottawa Main Channel .

The cool day (but warm if it were late September) weather forecast at http://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/on-58_metric_e.html is
"Cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. High 20"
likely will mean less people on the river than would otherwise be expected for the long weekend of August.
