I think this thread was referring to last Saturday (July 27)

Oops! Ok then! They’d like to do the 7 Sisters (not the falls) this weekend if anybody is interested!

I know a couple from Quebec City that are coming in the region to boat this weekend. Could they join you guys? Really nice people and good kayakers!

Main Channel tomorrow for anyone who doesn't want to make the drive to the Gat.

By the way, via Google:

My house in Sandy Hill to Bonnet Rouge:    125 km, 1 hr 36 min.
My house in Sandy Hill to River Run:          127 km, 1 hr 23 min.

There are adjustments of course, depending on where one lives. For instance my house to Eagleson P'N'R is 22.5 km, or 19 minutes. But from downtown Ottawa, distances to Gatineau and Ottawa rivers are not different in any significant way in my opinion. If I am prepared to drive that far, the few minutes differences would be dwarfed by the uncertainty introduced by waiting for stragglers, transferring boats for carpooling,  buying coffee along the way, eating pouting etc. Have fun!

I plan on running the middle in a tandem canoe.  I'd llike to partner up for the shuttle.  See you at the takeout for 10 AM.

p.s.  I will be camping at Owl Saturday night.

Jen, Jon and I are running main on Saturday.
Possibly watch some of the squirt boat action above McCoy's.
Main is below -1, so prime time to go.

Any takers, we'll meet at the takeout at 10.
