So I guess the pumphouse is off limits this weekend john. How about we meet at Champlain so I can try your slalom boat? What about 2pm?

In case anyone isn't aware of this, from an ORR broadcast this week...

SRT Sept 13/14th is a GO ! Pumphouse needs to be closed to paddlers both Sat & Sun. Sept 13/14

The Swiftwater Rescue Technician Course - Sept. 11-14th at the Pumphouse is
a GO.  MKC now has 8 participants, but still space for more up to a total
of 15.

The Pumphouse will therefore be closed to paddlers from 9am - noon, and 1pm
to 6pm both Saturday, Sept 13 and Sunday, Sept 14th. There will be ropes
across the Pumphouse rapids during these times, that will make it too
dangerous to allow paddlers on the water.

This weekend was chosen for the SRT course as a number of club members will
be in Valleyfield racing.
