Well.. According to one facebook video a fellow quebecker paddler posted of me sliding down the stairs...Sindy Audet doesnt find it so amusing...She left a few comments there saying she's not happy about this as apparently 3 people slipped and fell in the stairs last year, including her, and mentionned that she is still recovering from that fall.. She somehow managed to blame this on us and others who have done it before, saying our plastic boats are wearing out these wooden stairs. Call me an idiot but I fail to see how a sleek plastic boat could actually wear out snowy iced up hard wood stairs so much from sliding down less than 10 times...I doubt many people have attempted these in the past also.. Im not saying it the long run, if every paddler would do it on a regular basis it wouldnt wear though and I understand this is her playgroud / practice ground...Just found her comment and assumptions a bit excessive... I myslef, have slipped twice sunday, and once this summer and I tend to think that wet wood is slippery, hence why you just have to be careful going up a flight of 35 stairs with a boat on your shoulders and paddle in hand..
But hey, I'm a nice guy and still appologized.
