As some of you might know.. Ive been on Raft Guide training on the Rouge for two weeks now!

Last week, weve ran the Harrington Canyon at around 385 and 375 cms .. Canyon wave was big!!! Confusion was big wavetrains  and the rest of the run as well.. No holes were in at these levels!

This week, Asides from working on anchors, rescue and knots, I guided the Canyon rapid.. and Turbo.. Rookie hole at Canyon was sticky and it wouldve been a crappy place to be! I hit the line that my mentor asked me to take spot on with a BIG hit on the canyon wave and then parked on the river left eddy as  safety for the next raft. Turbo hole was in but flushy so I asked if I could bring the raft for a surf!  ;D He said yes and we had a blast! Couple of sticky holes that would flip you around in a kayak along the run but at 265 , its an awesome level!

Monday, I took a beginner paddler down White Dog. some class II and White Dog was Def class III with a mean hole on river right and a big wave on the left!! I saw it from the right shore and found it to be way bigger when dropping in it!  :D It was definately the biggest wave I have surfed so far!

Here are some pics of my weekend! More pics / videos to come in a week or two!

BTW, for those who are interested..PM me if you want to book a run with me! I can get a cheap deal +/- 75$ for 2 runs on the canyon  if I get 8 people! Id love to have CDB'ers as first clients!  ;)

Crappy cell pic of the WhiteDog wave!
