Level was still -1.
Garb and Push Button in full attire.
I had loads of fun on Garb.
Alex from Montreal and I spent over 3 hrs on it.
Garb is easy to catch as long as you stick to surfer right.
Then we moved to Pushbutton for a couple of hours.
Currently, Push Button's main wave has a strong foam pile.
Might be a bit steep for longer boats.
But the 1st wave in front is perfect for learning; easy entry and smooth as glass...
You can watch the bead rock while you surf.
Raft season has just started but there isn't a whole lot of activity yet.
River Run had 25 odds campers last night. Including 9 from Montreal. Looked almost deserted.
No rain.
Nice big cumulus all day.
GrahameH showed up.
Adam Chappell was there as well with the young crowd he said he was leaving Monday for Germany and the Worlds Cup.
Go Adam Go!
Keegan, BenF and a few more regular I do not know the names of were there as well.
Ah! Kevin Mags spent some time on Garb as well. Not too bad and a lot better mouthed than he is on forum.
He was with Red Green - of his twin brother - who had a hell of a good time on Garb.
Interestingly, it is easier to get on Garb and back into the eddy than it is to deal with the swirls downstream of PushButton.
So if you ever dreamed of trying Garb, now's the time. Catch the train!
Good day on the river.
Making good progress as well.
Back Monday for more surfing and to pick up Alex.
We'll see you there.
