Indeed we should bring long boats to Champlain. But not today, as it is playboating time, level is ~59 m!

We should get all the long boats out at Champlain some evening, just to run the middle channel and practice rolls in the wave train.

I'd consider doing the Ottawa, but I'm really not sure how much abuse my aluminum frame skin boat could take. One big curler and there might be a live demonstration of the Wisper's folding abilities...

Nope, he would of meant this Dave. Christian and I were talking about running some stuff in our sea kayaks the night before he posted, but the more Daves the merrier.

It must of been these guys that I saw at Champlain last week. The first dude briefly eddied out and then they were both gone down stream; deadline to keep I guess.

Great Vid! I'm inspired to find a practical way of launching this sea kayak off my balcony, and then get it out on the water where she belongs.

You mean this Dave?  I don't think I would take my 18' stitch and glue sea kayak down but I'd rent a plastic one.  Looks like fun.

So Dave (and others with sea kayaks): let's try that later this summer: Main Channel (or Gatineau) in a sea kayak!
