Blakeney rapids are located in Almonte.
Its a park and run kinda place. You can walk back up easily along the trails.
5 different channels to choose from ranging from class III to V at different water levels.
It is not the kind of place you want to swim or spend too much time upside down.
Not the kind of place to paddle alone.
There are pin spots and undercuts at certain spots.
Its the spring warmup place for guys like Ben Marr, Joel Kowalski, Pat Camblin and the likes...Nonetheless challenging for a guy like me or any intermediate paddler.
