Yes, Cory's website is correct. Below is the Lower JJ wave when it is surfable. The eddy right next to the concrete structure was very boily and paddling back up after being blown off the wave was a bit tricky. I took the picture on Octobre 2, 2007, and that day the Britannia gauge was at 2.6. It is at 3.0 right now, going down, so I don't expect a whole lot of difference.

 Im pretty sure it need to be much lower , the boils are massive against the wall,  Cory has done a great job on his websight , it must have helped countless people  ;D

The Britannia gauge is dropping and getting very close to 3.0.
Does this mean that Lower JJ is the spot to go to?

I've been to the left most channel at Dechenes at higher level, but not Lower JJ.
Is the City of Ottawa Whitewater Playspots doing a good job of representing the exact wave spot?
