i am interested but i would not like to leave the city because it is super cold water but i think the snow will melt making the water go up and mabey the ice will melt

Is anyone interested in going paddling this weekend?  I know it is freezing cold and snowy, but that makes for good stories and frostbite.  I suppose I am not selling this idea well.  I'll bring matches in a drybag  :)
