Hi Mark.
When as you flush off the wave, ferry hard towards Quebec. As soon as you come out of the main current, you will notice that the river there is a bunch of wide, shallow ledges barely submerged, perhaps with seaguls STANDING, not floating. Read those slow waters and work your way back upstream until you find yourself in water 6" deep. You might even be able to strand yourself. From there, if you get out of your boat, you will see a small rock pile somewhat upstream of the wave, and river left of it. If you're careful about where you go, you can find a path to it where the water never goes deeper than 1 foot. You can put in at that rock pile and ferry to the wave.
