I do have to give extra credit to Sandra.  She just finished her second raft race lap and had to motor straight back to the put-in with no rest before her kayak run.

Hey - not sure about the princess part, especially since I have moved on from my 'red and white' boat.

Being confident on the water helps when you trust that you can read the water...I think I am starting to finally trust my ability and need to push to get a 'high'.

Plus - Billy said you need to only have 25% of the info...before I always wanted 110% as I am sure you can recall...

Congrats on an excellent time.  It just goes to show that practice and hard work pays off.  Your Chile trip seems to have transformed you from a timid lilly dipping paddler into the "Merkin Princess" willing to take the meaty lines.

Keep up the effort and I look forward to a rematch next year.

I think next year we need our club members to go near the same time so I can have the added incentive of closing the gap!

How did I ever let the Toy Soldier beat me.

Glad no one mentioned the few CDBers that were a part of another all girls raft that swam at Lovers :) Can't believe I was pushing so hard for bragging rights (Hey Wendy/Heather...)

Special thanks for Bill and Jim for being at railway when I was going...helped me to be less stressed when I did the 'meaty' line.

What a blast! I have butterflies just thinking about it...

"Already paid" members?  Do you think KWP or the GKC would be so formal and honest?  It's King of Clubs, play dirty when it counts.  ;)

I posted our result on boatwerks, did not use any last names or editorial comments, so that our result could be used in KOC.

Wayne Donison, who organises events for whitewater Ontario asked me to send him the list of participants to HOHW III from our club, in case we want to participate to King of the Clubs. Based on the 'already paid' member list for 2011, we have as participants to HOHW III:

Don't forget that Adam Chapel had a 6 minutes and 9 second time, which makes him fastest in the club, I think....

Interesting.
Late Ray is a lot quickly inside his boat then outside of it.
(Still the best times were below 6 min. Ray)
And best female time was Leah (of Chile trip with Billy fame) at 6:10.

I am raising my sahib hat to my buddy Sandra for beating Larry.
And for the 2 gentlemen (Jack and Dr Christian) in the back for allowing the ladies first.
Knowing myself, I might have done the same thing they did...
Still a bit strange as these two gents are typically quick at chasing younger females...heummm.

Sorry I missed the show,
just had to celebrate mother's day with my own lady.
