Caro & Dan,

I'm interested in running the Rouge on Saturday as well.  Based on Christian's description in the river level thread, I think the 7 Sisters section might be more fun than the Canyon section, but I will go with the group decision.

Shaunna and her boyfriend Graham from Pettawawa are looking to do the Rouge with us as well.  She posted a thread for Sunday, but I'll see if I can't talk them into paddling with us on Saturday.

Don't put Daniel's car in the pool unless you are absolutely sure it will floats!

Same for me  :)

Can't be at Whispers, but would like to run a river on Saturday before the AGM!
Want to carpool Daniel?

Cheers,
C.

Awesome video Ryan.

I will add another highlight:

Ryan surfing Butterfly.  Video at 1:43 to 2:04

Cheers!

A very heated debate today, although my position was not overly convincing as I swam, for little or no reason, out of LS Horseshoe.  Team Middle Channel made a better case, and so it was.  The bigger point of contention was S-bend vs Angel's Kiss.

Highlights:
-Jacques getting back in his boat after way too long
-Christian having a pre-debate debate with Phil.  Phil is stubborn mind you, so Christian paddled out the argument in one piece
-Caroline face-surfing the hole below Garvin's underneath a canoe, both of whom got bumped out of the hole by yours truly
-Caroline running LNN for the first time
-Poutine

Highlights that can actually be backed up by video:

In case anyone was going to the Eagleson Park and ride, Rayn and I are meeting at Champlain at 9h30.

Cheers,
C.

Ok. I'm in. Looks like Jacques and I will share the ride, since his boat is in my garage...

I'd be interested in a Sunday paddle if anyone is headed out.

So if anyone hasn't checked the other thread, the debate team will meet at the WT take-out at 11:00 tomorrow (Saturday).

All with temperature-appropriate gear are welcome!

I'm leaving from Orleans if anyone needs a ride.

Main is great from +8 down but not for a beginner at all..Ledge is starting to come in at this level so a swim would DEF suck.

I think theres more easy/fun play on the Middle though.

But if you're looking for a Big Water Pushy Feel and rush.. go for the main 100%

I'm proposing arriving at McCoy's at 10:30, paddling down to the gauge, and arguing about whether to run the main or middle channel.

I'm flexible as to Sat/Sun, so will cede the date to the first person who was a preference.

So, anyone up for a heated debate?
