I'll think I'll join. See you at owl put in.

Change of plans, I'm not feeling super hot this morning, so I'm going to bail. Hope you get this in time.

Ottaw Put-in Saturday at noon.  I'm meeting Shaunna, Graham, and whoever else.

If there's any correlation between Rocher Fendu and Britannia, I'm guessing the level will be in the neighborhood of 6.

Everyone should come!

Its actually still 8.75 as of today!  ;D

If I can find a big enough boat and someone to go with, i might be in for the Ottawa Saturday. Wondering if it has gone up!  ;D

Sorry Shaunna, I was on the wrong thread, should have been on the Petite Nation thread, but a birthday paddle sounded like a great idea.

Well! the Petite Nation thread is right here (not to steal Shaunna's hehe):
http://www.cdb-ottawa.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?topic=4658.msg11639;topicseen#msg11639

And at this level you can see the first canyon in the video I posted (which is harmless at these levels) aside from that reactionary it between the rock and the wall which pushes your towards the wall and might make you go upside down.. ;)

I still need to find a boat over 70 gallons and will be going to paddle shack later today to check again...

But yeah Martin. Fix your gasket.  ;D

Funny thing it is my birthday on Monday, so a birthday paddle down the Petite Nation with Martin on Sunday would be nice. I have not been down that river in over 10 years, + I have a new boat, so prudence would suggest that I do not do the first canyon, however the rest would be OK. The only obstacle that I  have is that Martin has a small rip in the neck gasket of his drytop & would need to fix it before we could go (the kid needs incentive to take care of his equipment on a regular basis). Hear that Martin , very clear terms,  no fixed drytop, no paddle on Sunday.

So who else is going ?

Richard

Does anyone want to join me for my birthday weekend paddle? We're hitting up the Petawawa and/or the Ottawa with the tentative schedule looking as follows

Saturday: Petawawa
Sunday: Ottawa

Again, this is a TENTATIVE schedule. Anyone is is interested in coming on either or both days let me know so we can arrange a timing which suits everyone! Cheers!
