Ha Ha!
You might need more than Google to understand and evaluate a thesis titled "Modulating Electro-osmotic Flow with Polymer Coatings"...
BTW, I can answer a few of your questions...
"If you dug a hole through the center of the earth, and jumped in, would you stay at the center because of gravity?"
If you dig the hole and stop at the center of the planet, you'll fall and smash at the bottom of the hole. And it's a mix of solid iron and nickel down there, at almost the same temperature as the surface of the Sun (>5000 C)... If however you dug the hole all the way back to the other side of the world, then if there was no air resistance, you'd go through the centre of the Earth, and emerge right at the other surface, then fall again, oscillating back and forth. With air resistance, you'd travel less and less with every oscillation, and eventually end up stopped at the center of the Earth.
"If a person dies and then springs back to life, do they get their money back for the coffin?"
No, because when they end up in the coffin, the embalmer has already removed or damaged most of the internal organs. So I suppose that the hypothetical person springing back to life would not be confortable enough to ask for a refund. I remember a horror movie where a wife wishes for her husband to come back to life; when he does, he can only scream in pain...
"How far east can you go before you're heading west?"
If you go due east (i.e. along a parallel), you will always go due east and circle the Earth.
Ok. Now back to work...
