The amount of water needed to completely flush this wave would be absolutely enourmous... The highest it got last year was 59.6. This year it looks like we'll get more!

According to cityofottawawhitewater, the higher the water, the more the waves lose their hole character and becoming breaking waves. So I'm pretty sure it will be fantastic.

I can be there for 3PM if anyone else is keen. With the heat in my building at work not working, I think it would be warmer outside on this beautiful day!

It looks like it will be going quite a bit above that over the next couple days as well. The Ottawa below Temiscaming just saw a big surge in the last several hours

Meanwhile the big rivers below that like the Dumoine, Petawawa, etc are mostly freaking out.
