If someone is at Champlain tomorrow (saturday) at 2pm, I'll go as well.
See you there

Are you paddling
Tomorrow Dominique?
If so where will you paddle?

I personally always prefer Champlain if it's in.
Why?

1.it's very close by.
2.Better for roll practice and front wave is mellow.

I plan on going to see both and then decide.
Negative side:
-There is always the ice shelf above Chamolain at this time and if it breaks no surfing:) unless you like dodging ice floes the piece of cars and small houses.
Sewer Wave is more sheltered usually so that might factor in.

Paul:)

I might try out my back at bates island to see if I will be able to paddle this spring. Let me know if anybody goes there and if the wave is good.

With the river at 58.88 and raising, I would think that the wave at the Wall, at Bates island, will be in this weekend. According to city of ottawa whitwater, the eddy comes in at 58.9.

And there's always Valleyfield!

Unless a miracle happens and some other river opens up, I will be there.
