Yes.  Everyone had fun and a good cause benefited!

Don't you know Yannick that the rankings don't matter in this race? ;) Showoff :P

Team Open and Wet (the only canoe in the race) came in 6th with a time of 50 minutes and 49 seconds.  I am still fundraising for Movember.  You can donate by following the link below.

Here's the video of the start.  https://www.facebook.com/whitewaterontario/videos/538356216631592/

Mark Pilon and I are already paired up for it. So we'll be doing it. Most of the event organization seems to happen on Facebook indeed.

The Movember team page is up: https://moteam.co/movember-whitewater-classic

And mine: https://mobro.co/lafreniereluc

In case anybody is so inclined to make a donation for men's health.

Hope to see you there Christian!

Movember Race 2018

Hi all.

Assuming this year there will be a Movember race on November 17th on the Ottawa river (Google returns nothing on it, and I do not pay attention to FeceBook), anybody interested? It's a fun run down the Middle channel with mandatory portage at Garvin's. In teams of 2, 2nd paddler to finish defines the arrival time. Usually the water isn't all that cold yet, but a dry suit is recommended--though not necessary as many use wetsuits, dry tops etc.
