Thanks Dave, sounds like a bit of a project, but fun. Maybe the type of road where you bring your pin kit and your traction aid... :)

Hey Dave, how was the road up to Lower No-name? I had heard that you need a good 4X4 to get there.

It was rough; rougher and longer than the new road into Blacks Takeout, but I was fine with 2wd and reasonable clearance. There were some high water crossings due to beavers. The pic below shows where I parked for the day: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=loc:45.73758998+-76.72566478

The left branch of the fork goes to the takeout by Lower No-name. There is a bad spot just on the other side of the lip in the pic, and it is probably best not to drive down there. Esprit does NOT want people parking down there. The right fork allows one to go into Garvin's to drop off a boat etc. (this part of the road is tougher going yet) There is a gate before Garvin's that was open when I was there, but you never know. So I had been picturing lugging my boat up to Garvin's but got to be lazy in the end and had a great day on the river.

Brrrrr! I'm likely game to get out there, but will head there from the Quebec side. Park at Lower No-name and then hike paddle up to Angel's Kiss.

Just in case anybody else is tempted to join, our plan is to drop boats at the put-in at 11:30 AM, then meet at the take-out for shuttling at noon, so we should be on the water at around 12:20 PM.

Frida and I are planning to go, and Bruce may join. We are flexible re times, but suggest an 11:30 AM later start in view of temperatures.
